Some 14 personnel under Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency have been alerted to fix the damaged embankments and canals in Petamburan Urban Village area, Tanah Abang.
Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Eli Menawan Sari said, 6 out of 14 personnel were sent to patch up the damaged western canal.

While eight others were sent to dredge up mud in the connecting channel on Jalan Petamburan 2, RT 09/RW 03.
"The channel itself has 200 meters long with 1 meter height and mud has 20-50 centimeters height," he explained.
It aimed to minimize inundation in Petamburan during heavy rains.
"No leaks in the embankment and water in the channel on Jalan Petamburan II flows smoothly towards the river," he stated.
